Why anti-reversing assessment needs runtime evidence
Instrumentation observes running programs. State whether the evaluator has device and runtime access.
Access changes the observation surface
Frida documents dynamic instrumentation. Fewer static strings do not establish that runtime parameters and outputs are unobservable. Device conditions, permissions, runnable builds and tool access belong in the threat model, not behind one aggregate score.
Compare authorized samples
Observe core inputs and outputs on your own test app and compare them with static findings. Detecting one tool demonstrates detection under those conditions, not prevention of every runtime analysis technique. Keep third-party credentials and user content outside the experiment.
Your checklist
- Record device and permission conditions.
- Report behavior actually observed.
- Use only authorized apps and data.
