Evaluating O-MVLL: start with native code and toolchains
An open-source LLVM obfuscator is a candidate layer, not proof of compatibility with an arbitrary uploaded app.
Separate tool scope from service scope
The O-MVLL repository describes LLVM-based obfuscation for native Android and iOS code. That does not establish support for every compiled IPA, Swift module or dependency. Identify its actual inputs, compiler version and configuration in your build.
Start with one valuable function
Choose one valuable function with independent input/output tests. Compare an unprotected build, one layer and a layered build under frozen settings. Successful compilation proves integration; complex output proves representation changes. Relevant progress needs lower replication success under a fixed budget plus passing functionality tests.
Your checklist
- Pin the repository commit and compiler.
- Begin with independently testable core methods.
- Review licensing separately from experiments.
